Overview
A Volume Converter changes a three-dimensional amount from one volume unit to another. It is useful for liquids, containers, recipes, packaging, shipping notes, lab examples, and cubic measurements.
Volume is not the same as weight. A liter of water and a liter of oil take up the same volume but do not weigh exactly the same. This page converts volume units only; it does not convert volume to mass or account for density.
